Someone shared this with me today:
"the Lord often chooses a wilderness experience for us because His goal is to make us more dependent on Him.
The problem is once we leave the wilderness, we become independent of Him again and go our own way.
We must remember that the wilderness was leading us to abundance, yes..... but more importantly, abundance in Him."
