Well friends, I'm back! With a little encouragement from my sweet friend Maggie, I have decided to start blogging again! Because it has been so long (two years!), I'm going to just list a few major things that have happened and go from there! If I try to go in detail, I'll get overwhelmed and quit before I really get started good. So here it is:
1. Lost job almost two years ago.
2. That encouraged me to step out in faith and start my own event planning business (Sweet P Designs).
3. The Lord completely lined things up perfectly allowing me to do that.
4. Now, I am loving my life and getting to do something I'm passionate about and absolutely love doing! (not many people can say that.... Thank you Jesus!)
So that's a brief summary of how I got to where I am now. I will be moving into a new apartment on Wednesday. I am super excited, because aside from event planning, I have a major love of all things involving interior design. Can't wait to share the progression of my new place!
Here is a link to a sneak peak of a wedding I did last week in Hilton Head. I usually do all of the flowers myself, but being a destination wedding, I worked with an incredible local florist (Flowers by Sue) to come up with a beautiful design that exceded the bride's greatest expectations! I love the entire design of this wedding! It was so unique and original. Thank you Suggs Photography for the amazing photos! If anyone needs a photographer in the NC/SC area, call them!!! They are seriously amazing and the absolute BEST to work with!!
